Welcome- A Blog for the Internet
Hello,
I have been blogging since 2010. I have well over 700 posts from these last 8 years of blogging. Some years I posted a ton and other years it was scattered here and there. I have not had a public blog for many years because a lot of times what I posted was private. I would write goals and sometimes vent. I love writing and it is one of my biggest passions. I now feel like I've got something more to write about and that I am ready to have a public blog once more.
I decided to start a new blog at 3:10 am on this fine Tuesday morning, because that's when all of my new ventures begin--in the middle of the night/early morning.
What do I intend to post on here? I have a lot of thoughts about a lot of things and I am a very deep person (kidding). I guess I just wanted to share a bit about myself, my life, my goals and ventures.
Some topics I will likely post about/discuss:

Some topics I will likely post about/discuss:
- Keto & Health--I am doing the keto lifestyle currently and I have been delving into cooking more frequently and I am enjoying myself. I have always struggled with my weight (even as a child) and now I finally feel like I am at a place where I can focus and keep myself on track with a healthy lifestyle.
- Mental Health-- I have been struggling with bi-polar disorder for about 12 years. I had my ups and downs all through out my teenage years, but I also had a very tough home life so I did not have the support nor resources. When I was 18 I had an intense manic period, but I suffered through it in silence. I was officially given medication (Lithium) when I was around 19 years old. At that time I had a huge manic breakdown and I was working at an office at the time and I was nonfunctional. It has been a long time struggle, but I have learned more and more with passing time that I am not alone. If you struggle with mental health, just know that there is help. I had a hard time with the idea of taking medication and I've only been on steady medication for almost 4 years.
- Marriage-- I have been married for five years (6 years in October). I love being married to my husband and we have grown a lot these last several years as adults, professionals, people, and as a couple. I love reading marriage advice articles and hearing from other people how their marriage works. I find it fascinating how people function in differently in relationships and no one method works for all.
- Education-- I'm a teacher and I am transitioning into a new role next year as a support specialist for new teachers. I am excited for the change, but I am going to MISS my classroom. I am sure that I will guest teach all year long though!
- Travel-- Traveling is a true passion, but more specifically long road trips. Each summer my husband and I take a long road trip and it is so much fun. We have gone to Las Vegas, L.A., D.C., New York, South Dakota, and this year we are going to Seattle and San Francisco.
- Randoms-- Books, pets (we have a dog and cat), self-improvement, personal/life goals, planning/journaling, goals and challenges, music, hobbies, date night, night life, activities, games (we love board games and video games), websites, apps, shopping etc.
